KYLYN MAXWELL
I am a multi-faceted creative with a passion for exploring how visual communications and the arts can coexist to create authentic, impactful work. I earned my Bachelor of Journalism with an emphasis in Strategic Communications and a focus on Art Direction, as well as my Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design, from the University of Missouri in May 2026.
I enjoy attaching meaning to the little things, so every design, painting, drawing, or form of media I create is intentional and thoughtfully crafted. I never overlook a detail when analyzing a work of art, and I carry that same mindset into my own creative process.
I love to explore: the world, connections, fine art mediums, film, music, literature and culture. I am always searching for novelty because it keeps me inspired, adaptable, and creatively sharp. I’ve had the opportunity to intern in Florence, Italy, and volunteer in Jaipur, India. Both experiences expanded my cultural curiosity and have strengthened my ability to flourish through change.
I hope that while viewing my work, you can see its connection to the world around us, because that is what inspires me most.
But in the meantime, just look up! There are always blue skies ahead.
